Body Armor for Recon

  Body Armor

Mutltiply the the Armour Value of the armour by the Armour Multiplier of the round type and subtract the result from the damage points inflicted.

Armour multiplier
Pistol round x2
Rifle round x 1
Shotgun x 4
Melee/unarmed x 1

Armour Value
Helmet 15
Kevlar vest 10
concealable armour 5
Hi threat vest (ceramic insert) 30

As a comparison of damage values, it seems that stocs lite will be more deadly, for example,
Stoc lite AK47 round does 2d10 + 30
Recon AK round 4 d10

Has anyone noticed that in both the revised Recon and the Delux revised Recon the M-16 round is listed as 7.62mm as opposed as 5.56mm? and does the same damage as the the M14 round?

Anyway you might find this usefull.

By me :)
All I did for flack vest in Recon was treat it as a Class I/A armor, That covers area 28-66 on the hit location table.

1D10
.22
.22 high velocity long
.25
6.35mm

1D10+5
.30
.32
7.65mm
7.62x25
.38 special
.380

Basically it just softens the damage of a pistol round.
Another thing I did was have the PC's roll the above vs the round.
Durning our game tonight a PC was hit by a .38 in the back.
I had him to roll a D10+5 vs the 3D10. He rolled 11 and the .38 was for 9. I ruled it as no damage but a stinging feeling.
The 2nd hit again in the back was for 16 points, he rolled 7, so I just rolled it 9 points of damage.
